What we are
A Children’s Advocacy Center is a child-focused, community-oriented, facility based program in which representatives from many disciplines meet to discuss and make decisions about investigation, treatment, and prosecution of child abuse cases. They also work to prevent further victimization of children.

What we do
We investigate child abuse reports of sexual and physical abuse in Washington County. We are the only agency providing a comprehensive approach to child abuse investigations.

Who we serve
Children (from birth through 18 years of age) and their non-offending family members in Washington County. The Center serves only victims of abuse. Offender treatment is referred to the appropriate community resource.
